FWIW the Ivy League had multiple games played on Friday in 2017

Sept 29th - Dartmouth vs. Penn
Oct 20th - Princeton vs. Harvard
Nov 3rd - Brown vs. Yale
Nov 10th - Dartmouth vs. Brown

In 2016
Sept 16th - Rhode Island vs. Brown
Sept 30th - Penn vs. Dartmouth & G'town vs. Harvard
Oct 21th - Penn vs. Yale
Oct 28th - Yale vs. Columbia
Nov 11th - Harvard vs. Penn

As of right now, it doesn't appear the 2018 schedule has any Friday games. If you look at the 2015 schedule, then you will see the Ivy League played quite a few Friday games and even 1 Thursday game (Penn vs. Villanova on Sept 24th).
